Cube
This architecture evokes inwardness and self-awareness. There is no authoritative directional guidance to reach the glass-cube, rather the topography of the site allows the visitor to enter or bypass the architecture and simply exit the site. Between the gravel and the tactile plant there is no intermediate materiality, rather a strict divide where the division itself is transparent, suggesting a natural morph of distinct conditions. The glass cube is an axial fold of the site. While the axis of the site folds into itself, it suggests centralization, and concentration. As the folds unfold, matter extends, when folding, matter decreases, and one becomes more intimate with one's self. Upon entering the two way mirror cube one is confronted with a duality of perception. While observing the entirety of outside, the visitor is confronted with a reflection of his/her self. This reflection resembles the imagined paradise where individuation shifts to unity and all individualities can be evaluated while superimposed on context.
