Paradise Found
I propose to use the wooded area occupied by the Soundfield piece. Magnifying glasses of various sizes would be placed on poles of different heights in front of plants found naturally in this area. A vertical rectangle of transparent blue plexiglas is placed behind the plant to be viewed, to act as a frame to isolate the plant and darken the background. This relates to the concept of camera vision, where the view finder acts as a frame to isolate the subject matter as well as creating a shallow depth of field, typical of macro photography. The magnification serves to call the viewers' attention to the detail and beauty of the plants, requiring them to bend clown and look more closely. Even the lowly weed is worthy of examination and appreciation.
The woodland walk would be covered with yellow "carpet like" artificial turf, leading to each magnifier. Some new narrow paths in the woods would be created. This is an allusion to the yellow brick road that led to OZ a conception of paradise "somewhere over the rainbow". Like Dorothy discovered, paradise is here and now - you just have to look down and look closely.
