Re-Turning to the Garden
A project Re-Turning to the Garden explores the phenomenon of "Paradise" by means of architecture. A simple sketch transformed from a flat image (a page, a screen) into three dimensional reality of a public space / the garden, may help participants to reflect on:
-The tree as material and the garden as space to be transformed, at the origin of architecture
-The tree that defines the limits of the space at the heart of which a community exchanges and defines itself, a meditation space, symbol of authority and everlastingness
-The tree as recycled material of WORK / PROJECT returning to Garden
Series of floating in the air recyded beams, joists and rafters (branches?) supported by tilted columns on sono tubes (roots?), cover a circular path underneath and casting a play of shadows. A second hand video camera records a partidpant's walk and projects it on the screen. The participant is asked to repeat the experience of returning to the screen and rewatching his/her reframed walk underneath of "recycled tree".
