The garden of the tree abodes
The concept of the project is Paradise as Renovation. To think about Paradise is to think about Life, Death and our vision of the World. This garden is based on the Prehispanic Creation Myths.
It´s divided in three areas representing the journey of the soul that began crossing the threshold between Life and Death and ended at the abode of the Jaguar God. At
the center, is the Tree of Life surrounded by water as a symbol of the human being and renovation. We took some of the most universal elements of prehispanic cosmogony and reinterpreted them in order to represent through textures, colors, aromas and sounds the Mictlán or Xilbabá (Underworld, prehispanic version of the Paradise).
The path proposed represents an interior journey: By reconstructing through our senses the trip of the soul after Death, this garden is transformed into an encounter place with the World, the Other and Ourselves.
