The sanctuary
Man has depicted Paradise through numerous forms and expressions including literature, poetry, art, garden design and architecture. Paradise, however, has different meanings to different people around the world. Paradise is all about the experience, and creating a timeless and harmonious place that brings happiness and peace to all.
The Sanctuary is a modern interpretation of art, science and nature that recalls places of paradise that evoke the senses. The garden explores the magical elements and that exist within paradise - earth, wind, fire, water and cosmos.
The Sanctuary takes visitors through a journey that incorporates fundamental geometrical forms that exist in nature, together with traditional features of a paradise gardens such as water, pathways and a strong geometric design. Using natural or recycled materials, native plants, color and texture, the Sanctuary re-creates an exotic paradise on earth, one that will last long after the visitors have gone.
