Cogli la prima mela ( an apple a day keeps the doctors away)
The project starts from a lay and materialistic idea of paradise. That become just a garden where to pick the "first" apple. This materialistic vision is stressed out by the use of plastic fruit crates both to create the circular resting areas around the artificial wooden trees, both to sign the walking paths.
Red. Yellow and green wooden apples will hang on the artificial trees. Three apple trees will be planted along the pathways, offering a comparison between artificial and natural and their own different times and ways of changing.
Therefore visitors/users will be able to pick up the artificial apples, put them in the crates or on another tree, (organizing them by colour, for instance) or just take them away. In late September real apples will mature, so that visitors could even eat them.
Each visitor will experience a different garden depending both on his actions than on those of the previous ones.
