- finally, the creation of a new space for the presbytery and the parish church improves the life and identity of the parish while allowing a new source of financing, through the rental or sale of the current presbytery.
The new floors and roof do not rest on the old walls but on a separate, load-bearing and insulating structure. The roof rests on a system of wooden vaults or half-vaults, made of prefabricated caissons, which are at the same time load-bearing, insulating and decorative (pre-finished). These vaults form rigid arches on which the roof rafters rest.
