With the seasons, the plaza creates a changing canvas which can be appreciated by those working in the surrounding buildings. In the spring, the melting snow reveals the ground's intense colorations. In the summer, these are tempered by the foliage. As the canopy of the honey locusts yellows in the fall, the plaza gains in uniformity, with a touch of orange grasses. In the winter, those orange heads of the mature grasses sway above the snow.
