INVISIBLE WELCOME
INVISIBLE WELCOME is a proposal to transform the entrance of CEPSUM into an immersive, seamless, and universal experience. Rather than imposing visible architecture or intrusive signage, we envision a welcome based on discreet inteligence, spatial sensitivity, and real-time adaptation.
The project. Relies on invisible devices (smart floors, directional sound guidance, interactive walls, sensory bubbles) that respond to the presence of users to create a warm, inclusive, and intuitive atmosphere. Each person is welcomed without needing to signal themselves: the environment automatically adapts, respecting the sensory, cognitive, and physical needs of everyone.
This vision transforms the entrance into an emotional and relational threshold, where technology disappears to give way to genuine hospitality. The user is recognized by their gait, guided by light or sound, informed without screens, and reassured without surveilance.
By placing humans at the heart of the design, INVISIBLE WELCOME proposes a new spatial language: gentle, adaptive, universal. It is not a device to be seen, but an experience to be felt.
(From competitor's text)
The proposal places strong emphasis on sensory experiences, to the detriment of the physical environment. The use of artificial intelligence is interesting, but it could be applied in any context and does not seem specific to the CEPSUM building.
