Non-Step
A sweeping red overhead canopy welcomes visitors from afar, acting as both a landmark and a guide. Its bold form reflects sunlight onto textured ground tiles, allowing visually impaired users to follow the red, luminous, tactile path into the stadium. The canopy's vivid red attracts native birds, providing natural acoustic signals, helping hearing-impaired users orient themselves via bird-song cues within the canopy space.
This concept makes it easy for everyone to arrive by eliminating all stairs and substituting them with a wide continuous ramp and a red canopy. The textured tiles light up at night creating a glittering carpet of guidance on the ground that improves safety and aesthetics.
The red canopy doubles as a social plaza, where bird songs, tactile ground textures, interactive lighting create a welcoming pregame ritual space, and players get to have a unique experience as well.

The jury pointed out that the "big red ribbon" has an uncovered ramp, posing safety problems in winter.
