Over time, man's bond with nature became tense, and he eventually broke his bond with nature. Just as a newborn child severs its ties with its mother, humans also cut their ties with nature. Even if the child breaks the bond with his mother financially, that bond will always continue to exist spiritually. This broken bond with nature affects us psychologically, whether we accept it or not. Just like we feel in the absence of our mother. On the contrary, when we go to nature, we feel very peaceful. Even the smell of flowers is enough to make us dizzy. So this is where we belong and where we should always be..
The Knot project is a project that takes us on a journey to give a new opportunity to our broken bond with nature. It allows us to reconnect with nature by combining urban green areas that already exist. It brings the ecological power it receives from nature to the heart of the city. It takes a green step towards reducing the urban heat island by lowering and rising in places. It connects with the endless green at the beginning and end. The NODE area of the vineyard turns into an urban center where conferences, events and all kinds of activities that contribute to nature/sustainability are held, emphasizing the importance of green. We can clearly say 'an icon that emphasizes green/sustainability' for the node area.
Cool areas under the eaves in areas close to the node amplifier and functions to revitalize the amplifier were suggested. Spaces have been created for our work to protect nature, with functions such as a Conference Hall where sustainability can be better explained to people, 'Workshops' where inventions that will protect nature are discovered, and 'Exhibition Areas' where the work done is exhibited. In this way, we can approach nature more holistically and protect nature and ourselves from harm.
