This project was born of a deeply optimistic vision inspired by a child's wonder at the magic of the circus. This vision translates into an experience of place that is at once exotic, exciting and delightful, a place of play and magic, a world of imagination. Flexible and transformable in nature, allowing for several scenarios, the project is characterized by various punctual elements:
Three cantilevered volumes and two additional volumes at ground level acting as a counterpoint to the smooth glass surfaces of the foyer and thus establishing an ensemble with sculptural qualities alluding to the funambulist's mastery of risk and balance;
-The use of partially reflective colored glass walls juxtaposed with clear colored glass to evoke an intense and exotic perceptual experience, an ensemble that is simultaneously opaque, reflective and sculptural during the day and a spectacular colored lantern at night;
-The delineation of the site by means of grass embankments on three sides;
-A plaza consisting of a pavement of multicolored stripes;
-An urban couch built with excess excavation and covered with grass to serve as a gathering and relaxation area;
-A primary red paver leading to the main entrance of the building;
-An epidermal striping strategy for the building envelope ;
-An "L" shaped foyer as the focal point of the project;
