"Here the wall, built of field stone - which is in the best tradition - becomes especially distinctive in the choice of the stone, which though uniform in itself is set off by certain blocks which are of darker colour with the roof. The chimney must be of stone, just as the wall, and exactly of the same colour. In the living room, the fireplace will also be made of field stone, roughly squared.
