"The roofing is either of shingle or roofing paper. The outside wall is of square-cut stone. Slated shutters on the ground floor windows. The woodwork of the room shown in the illustration is of panelboard below, including the woodwork around the fireplace, and of finely joined wood above. The walls of other nrooms, and the ceilings, may also be made of panel board or of plywood; or on the other hand of various wood, manufactured wallboards, or plaster. The woodwork is Canadian lumber, either stained or natural."
