"In this house the style is almost that of a small Breton manoir with its outside shutters in two colour-tones, either grey-blue and white, or simply black and white. The front door is similarly designed. The roof alone may be of some other colour, a shade with a suggestion of age. The hallway will have a black and white tiled floor; and the kitchen will be red-titled, with white join-seams. The stone of the building is of a light shade, with a few very dark patches in the traditional style."
