Tree of paradise
Tree of Paradise showcases human¬kind's quest for happiness. Para¬dise is an idealized realm unique to every person. What unites all people is the struggle to be happy in this lifetime. At the center of the garden, suspended where everyone can see, is the Tree of Paradise.
Not all will easily arrive to bask in its solace. Visitors choose between two paths. The false path is pleasant and appealing. A mead¬ow of native plants and a lush green wall distracts visitors from the fact that it leads nowhere. Hidden in the flora are abstract forms reminiscent of a sinister pair of horns and a pointed tail.
The true path to the Tree of Para¬dise is found between an arch of broken, twisted and bare branches. Severed tree stumps make the journey more difficult to navigate. In the distance, suspended in the air, is a view of the promised tree of paradise.
Arriving at the tranquil interior of the garden, visitors can rest easy after their journey.
