Resolutely contemporary, this project challenged the more traditional designs of the jury. It proposes an urban passage between Côte de la Montagne and Place-Royale. Around this passage, the exhibition spaces of the interpretation center, the commercial and administrative premises as well as the housing are articulated in different distinct volumes. Covered by a "copper box", the exhibition rooms are located on the first floor and in the basement, where the cellars and archaeological remains are located. The dwellings are distributed both on the façade facing Place-Royale and on Côte de la Montagne. The latter facade is pierced on the first floor by a glassed-in space highlighting the interpretation center. The commercial spaces occupy the first floor, in connection with Place-Royale.

After preliminary discussions, the jury decided not to retain this proposal due to the method of insertion adopted. The jury recognizes the friendliness and youthfulness of this very contemporary approach.
