Podium Tower
Tower :
The residential tower, combines with the office towers and make a mixed-use tower.
They (like different pictures) are placed in front of each other as an over exposure picture (a technique in photography) and make a new tower (picture); the mixed-use tower
Podium:
A podium can be in different parts of a tower' At the bottom, in the middle or on top. It can also explode into pixilated units and spread in all parts of the tower.
A podium can make a tower which holds the functional towers (residential and office towers) in itself.
We combine the ideas; mixed-use towers, over exposure and the idea of the podium as a tower which can be used and planed in various types and shapes.
The urban space is not a separated context. It is to be joined with the towers (formal and functional). The urbanism functions can be put in between the residential and official functions and join with the podium so that the tower is an urban space itself.
We think of a sample for the given site .In this sample the podium is a suppositional box in the size of the site and 300 ' ceilings.
It holds 12 boxes in itself. The boxes themselves are 8 floor buildings, 7 boxes for residential and 5 for offices.
This combination makes empty spaces which are designed and used for podium and urban space functions such as , Green space, accesses, lobbies, shopping, parking (in different levels), bars and restaurants, sport facilities, theatres ,etc.
The urban space rotates 90 degrees and makes a layer by the functional spaces. It then joins with these spaces and makes a "mixed-use urban space"
