By developing the REZ contest's project, we have decided to approach to the building through a different way from that one conventional. During the analysis of the contest's requests, the main idea that involved, was to compare the Toronto residential building to a city, since we had found some same characters between those identified into the building and into a whatever city.
Indeed it was expect that the Toronto building would has public spaces, private spaces, it's right both to host different type of persons and different type of daytime and night activities; as it happens in each city.
Starting from that relation between building and city, we have extracted the main concepts that could be identified in every cities and those aspects that make them livable. It was because of this that we have decided to take as examples not a specific city, but to take from whatever city the characteristics that make it better.
