WINDIPEG, Heat Separation Equipment
Most of artificial spaces on ice have the dome structure for avoiding the cold. We must avoid cold air for overcoming the cold weather?
We occasionally see the temperature rising by changing of state of matter to others.
For example, the village near the lake has milder winter than others, this is because of the heat of condensation when the lake water congeals into ice.
And for another example, in winter, we can see a freezing of water at interiors of the car window, caused by the temperature difference between inside and outside car.
A cooled interior surface of car window condenses the steam inside into liquid water. When this happens, such condensate heat has function to rise an indoor temperature. These two reactions are called an exothermic reaction.
We propose not the structure for avoiding the cold, but the structure for hugging the cold wind. We call this structure 'WINDIPEG'.
WINDIPEG is Heat Separation Equipment by stimulating two types of condensations.
The first condensation occurs, when the cold ground (or ice) meets the air. We propose the form of igloo built upside down for bringing more wind onto the ice. And an exterior recess of the wall draws more wind into the bottom of WINDIPEG.
The second condensation is caused by the temperature difference between inside and outside WINDIPEG. This glass tube structure under warming bench is based on the ideas that the high thermal conductivity and more large surface area accelerate the condensation.
WINDIPEG generate condensate heat
The more cold it is in WINNIPEG, the more warm WINDIPEG becomes.
In addition, Winnipeg has also favorable conditions for the condensation due to high humidity and strong wind during the winter.
A form of igloo built upside down, is made of Douglas fir plywoods with a thick of 30mm.
By putting an iron cylinder of 30mm in diameter under the warming bench, stability can be maintained.
This is on the same principle of roly-poly structure that the center of gravity is lower than the center of buoyancy.
