As water becomes ice, Winnipeg starts to transform into a new park, a brand new landscape, which has a specific way of using it.
With our proposal we are trying to express the symbolism of a new river usage.
This dichotomy, between the different ways of using the river depending on the day of the year, is what we tried to express.
Our project, is a typical warming hut with a stability problem appearance from the outside. From the inside it is conceived as a proper hut with its bench.
It becomes a conspicuous place, first because of its position, secondly because of its color.
It is a river, the same river, but now it is frozen.
It is a hut, a typical warming hut, but now it is tilted.
