- The project as a whole is well mastered and we note a good urban insertion.
- Despite the explanations concerning the unifying plate, the jury remains very skeptical about its actual functioning. In addition to its high cost, it is difficult to see how recreational activities can coexist with the parking function. During events on this plaque, where would the participants park? It is also noted that this is a parking lot where maneuvering can be difficult due to dead ends in each lane. This project requires the acquisition of the adjacent lot for the development of the unifying plaque.
- The building's location appears to have been wedged towards the adjacent shopping center to make room for the unifying plate.
- The future expansion of the Drummondville Historical Society is clearly demonstrated.
- The outdoor green bleachers are an attractive feature. It is noted, however, that they would probably not be used for spectators at the skating rink in winter.
- The positioning of the service building for the skating rink leaves the jury puzzled. Is this the type of building that should be present on Lindsay Street?
Its use is not complementary to those present on this commercial artery.
- The delivery area presents an access or exit problem as maneuvering will have to be done on the public road due to the lack of space to turn a vehicle.
- The employee entrance is very far from the parking lot. It is anticipated that employees will use the main entrance instead.
- The architectural treatment is appreciated but not enthusiastic. We perceive a certain similarity with the future Drummondville Fair Center.
- The building is described as conventional. A more marked conceptual effort was expected.
- The technical concepts are simple and the jury finds it a reassuring and risk-free proposal for the building. The choice of materials used is interesting.
- This project is recognized as the one that most respects the program in terms of internal functioning. However, the interior spaces are very sober and without impressive volume.

- The openings in the floor of the first floor are not significant. A special treatment of the staircase would have been desirable.
- The shelving arrangement on the floor is monotonous, but it is noted that the flexibility of the space can offer other arrangements.
- The layout of the blue room is appreciated, however access with a cart full of books can be difficult. An adaptation of the elevator could allow better access.
- The jury appreciates the design and treatment of the circulation desk.
- The fluidity of the interior circulation is positively underlined.
- The proposed sustainable development measures will allow the objectives to be achieved.
- The cost estimate presented is within the targeted budget.
