Jury Report

The presentation was obviously very well prepared and delivered. The teamwork and involvement of the engineers was clearly evident. The explanations of the vortex idea and the analogy to the house did not convince the jury. The jury recognizes that this team recycles the majority of the built heritage. The questioning of the storage on the third level was clarified, but the explanation did not convince the jury of this very impractical arrangement. The explanations concerning the risk management provided by construction management left the members of the jury perplexed as to the respect of the budget. Despite some reservations, the architects responded adequately to the mechanical question put to them.
