In this project, the permanent marquee stands out as the main interface of the public square. Thus, by creating a clear architectural gesture in the surrounding landscape along the highway, the Marquee was to serve as a signal and a "portal" for the entire park. The public square, located in the background, became an extension of the marquee's diffusion. This square, intended to be used year-round, "was to be designed to live and be invaded throughout the year by all sorts of activities related to one or another of the vocations of the ensemble." The Chapiteau was imagined as a monolithic building with a translucent exterior membrane that could serve as a screen after dark. The marquee was to span Paul-Boutet Street, creating a true gateway to the site. The landscaping made of stones and vegetal massifs was to mark the axes, signal the direction while playing the role of "land art".
