The place of the project is located in a mountainous area, specifically in a forest. We consider the relationship between human and nature is very important.
The main idea of our project is to create a house that has direct contact with the nature. For this, the choice of materials and design of the walls play an important role.
The house is separated from the ground to prevent moisture problems. The program is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, there is a lounge (with a chimney and space to facilities) and a multipurpose space. This space allows the realization of different activities such as study, work and sleep. This is possible thanks to the use of a removable piece of furniture that has a bed and a table. On the top floor, there is only a multipurpose space like below. There is a double height space that allows direct connection between the two floors of the house.
The structure is made of wood. It consists of wood columns and beams. Columns have a concrete base to improve the union with the foundation. Walls and carpentry are also made by wood. Walls have insulating to create a friendly atmosphere. The roof consists of slate tiles. Solar panels are located on the roof. Large windows are designed in the north and south facades. With this, a great natural lighting is achieved. Besides, a direct relationship between exterior and interior is created.
In conclusion, it is noteworthy that all the features of the building made this ecological and sustainable, while a high degree of comfort is created linking everyday life with nature.
