Light shadow dream
By taking the project as a whole we can do justice to the architecture, the use of the building and the community. The following techniques will be used to achieve the desired effects.
Wash: Standard fixture mounted at the top of the pole and part way down the pole a smaller fixture placed to light the sidewalk and street this will replace the existing single street lamp
Accent: Color accent projector placed on roof top to light statue from the front
Sparkle: Custom decorative neon and cut glass door illuminate the main entry of Gesu
Artistic: Cloud dream effect using steam to represent ever expanding dreams lifted from the light and shadow the cloud is then lighted by a color accent projector
Shadow Play: Recessed well lights wash large areas of the facade placed at the foundation of the building

Even without direct reference to the Quartier des Spectacles, the attempt to reflect the inside complexity to the outside is relevant.
The cloud evoking the baroque, which seems to come from the religious iconography, represents a theatrical aspect appropriated for the Gesù.
