Architectural Gesù

In our proposition, we would like to replace the geographical space occupied by the Gesù in Montreal's cultural universe. Our lighting intervention has three principal technological devices:

-Strips of DEL tube lights underline the main horizontal articulation of the façade: the creativity center, the church, the cornice; the color of the strips change according to the seasons and pulse following a code, still to determine.

-Fifteen 5pi x 4pi DEL screens are placed side by side on the façade width, including the two towers. Vertically sliding, the screen can move from the top to the bottom of the façade.

-Video projections are covering the whole façade

-Red spots, Quartier des Spectacles' signage, are taking place on the sidewalk from Sainte-Catherine Street to the Gesù entrances.

-A sculptural street lamp will be installed in memory of Montreal's first electric candle on the corner of Bleury and Dorchester.
