Mutation
Mystery and duality are the key words of this proposition. The lighting installation signals the building's vocation and that it belongs to the Quartier des Spectacles de Montréal.
The higher part of the Church is tinted by a blue light, referring to its spiritual vocation. That color reminds us of the greatness of the sky, the oceans, the infinite... At the lower part, an orange hue light indicates the artistic vocations of the Gesù. The orange hue represents the creative passion of the painter, the enthusiasm of the musician and the smart observations of the humorist.
In ''quiet mode'', le lighting of the facade is soft and white. When there's a show going on, the Gesù changes completely: its lighting becomes colored, intense and saturated. The creativity center's entrance gets interactive, its color changing when someone crosses the door.
