It's springtime in Sudbury. A northern spring, where a winter city grows. It's the return of the river that reappears to welcome skaters and pedal boats. It's the blossoming of green and blue flows that cross the city to make it a northern lung. A fertile season of innovative solutions, progress and sustainable development. Innovative models of housing, urban agriculture and human scale.

Revealing, Regenerating and Uniting. Three actions to make Sudbury a unique, vibrant and evolving ecosystem. Revealing the beauty of the landscape, biodiversity and a warm northernness. The old waterways reappear and are returned to the population. The downtown core is opened up and connected to the rest of Greater Sudbury. The community is at the heart of the transformations that are shaping public space. It is actively engaged in the vision and changes.

Landscape, heritage and community are united through new living spaces. Architecture is being redesigned for energy efficiency and food self-sufficiency. Circulation forms a new, connected and vibrant urban fabric, tested and built as a community.
