It was chosen to speak about "The Determinator", being the most developed context.
EVOLUTION OF THE CITY
The services in a town or city are spread over several sectors, mentioning firefighters for fire safety, police for general security, hospitals for health, city hall for local government ...
Assuring that information and services are available and accessible to everyone, planning and maintaining infrastructures such as roads and bridges or underground systems, providing safe drinking water and waste management...
As the main points in the current cities is defined to ensure overall comfort, maintenance, and security. We ask ourselves where are the main axes for the development and evolution of towns and cities. Who influences today the development of civilization? What will help to optimise/accelerate this factor?
AGORA
In seek of an answer, It was converging toward "Agora".
Agora was a central spot in ancient Greek city-states. The literal meaning of the word is "gathering place" or "assembly", a center of athletic, artistic, spiritual and political life of the city. Agora was a place than to discuss ideas and give statements.
As for details and more importantly today's great ideas are discussed (but that does not result), the main question remains: where are the Agoras of the 21st century? Where are the places to discuss ideas and give statements?
ELEVATION
To develop the idea, we mention that the recovery of qualitative opinion as quantitative is also important.
A small example in Finland, where the education system is a little pushed, children THEMSELVES were asked to model how they imagined their school yard!! It is noted that Finland enters the most effective global categories in terms of education and show a leap in a small amount of time after being in the worst of the education system in the world.
NEW AGORAS
So, valuing the input opinions of its citizens encourages engagement is a definitive and a key point toward the development of their own cities.
Arriving at this point, we introduce you ''Le Déterminateur''. It is the link between our fears, our imaginations, our thoughts and our realities, the action to take toward people's vision. It is a physical center where people's input are collected for a better understanding.
DIMENSIONING
The structure of the 21st century Agora is 9m high, the chosen material is wood, slabs are interfering at two levels. The abstract element is forming an auto-supporting diagrid, distributing the loads evenly to the structure base.
The importance of the proposed physical entity works as a link. Realizing and materializing the needs of a village and city is checked, its evolution will be only one step down, taking proper action, toward automated luxurious community which is the remaining step.
FIRST CONCLUSIONS
As the main axes are defined and wherein later discusses/ development will be shown the procedure on an amplified scale, the surveying, the expressing techniques (verbal, imagery...), the analysis procedure where sociologists and urbanists are more concerned with their contribution.
For the well being and the evolution of the urban facilities. So, how do we want to build your Utopia?
THE SANCTUARY OF RELIGIOUS UNION
The first conception "1" was revealed at first stage, named the sanctuary of religious union. It is more addressed to regions and cities who are related to faithful praying and believing in heavenly powers.
The sanctuary was inspired by this chamber of praying found at Paris Airport, created for passenger
with different religions. It has a benefit reassembling many religions, all together to pray to the creator.
THE DETERMINATOR
The second conception "2", it is more adressed to cities, detached from any source of religious ideology, and where secular belief expands.
The Determinator works like artificial intelligence. It is the brain of the city. It can enhance decision making, even taking decisions. This facility has the capacity to store all citizen data, make predictions, and follow, offer and propose optimized solutions to the humankind according to each individual portfolio.
THE UNIFICATOR
The third conception "3" was revealed by assembling the two conceptions "1" & "2", into one more evolved. The design looks like a human being, where it is represented by :
- a mind, illustrated by the first top sphere,
- a body, illustrated by the shell,
- a spirit, illustrated by the inner sphere,
The Unificator is an updated sanctuary and mental intelligence. It works as one. With this facility everything is combined to make and relieve the future human being on all the levels.
THE SANCTUARY OF RELIGIOUS UNION
The concepts discuss the future of religious behaviour.
Having more than 4200 religions in the world, the question, to be asked first, should concern the well being and comfort, above any development of the city, placing by that human kind first :
"Liberty on earth is achieved, if every man can live as if humanity has just been born, far from any social, economic or material restriction".
THE DETERMINATOR
Hence, we find that all current projects are more oriented to the growing of the city, such as roads, bridges, tunnels... and in a more global wise converging towards saving the earth, green ecology, circular economy, new energy, energy transition...
The urban design presented in the frame of this competition speaks about the religious union, a monument of worship encompassing by division, all the religions of prayer.
THE UNIFICATOR
Having these designs in different stage of my passing two years.
Visions started with brain flashes. I do believe it was brought by The Holy Spirit, a factor that human kind is desperately in need of, also working towards world globalisation.
Talking about the design :
It is made from "Wood" the most ecological construction material, heavenly revelations, futuristic design, necessity to the human kind.
